If you want to check if your device is working properly, you can do it in 3 ways.
Checking the LEDs on the device
You can check the operation of the LEDs on the GPS device, the “Navigate” and “Status” LEDs should flash every second.
If the LEDs are off or on continuously, it means that the device is not installed correctly.
Works properly
Navigate LED - blinks every 1 second
Status LED - blinks every 1 second
Problem with the unit
LEDs are off - check the power supply
Navigate LED on continuously - problem with GPS signal, device is obstructed by metal parts.
Checking the parameters in the mobile application
Another way is to check the operation of your device in the MyCar GPS mobile application.
To check your device in the mobile application, go to the “Parameters” tab.
In this window, pay attention to:
1. GSM signal - a scale should appear here, if it is highlighted in red it means the device has no GSM signal
2. GPS signal - the scale should appear here, if it is highlighted in red it means that the device has no GPS signal
3. Voltage level - information about the voltage level should appear here, if the level is very low and the dot above the voltage value is red, this means that the device has no power.
4. Device status - here you should see information about the status of the device, if the icon is red, it means that the device is not transmitting current data.
Checking parameters in the web application
